Arai Auction 4W Oyama held its “39th Anniversary & JU Affiliated Associations Autumn Relay Auction” on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The auction featured 1,795 vehicles, with 1,504 sold, achieving a sell-through rate of 83.79%.
This anniversary auction marked the first anniversary event since the 4W Oyama Auction shifted its date from Thursday to Saturday this past September, and we were pleased to have many members participate.
During the opening ceremony, our Chairman of the Board, Juichi Arai, expressed his gratitude to the members who have supported the auction for 39 years. He also explained that the shift to Saturday auctions was a major decision made to provide even greater added value to our members’ trading experience, and touched on the extensive preparations we have undertaken, including facility improvements and various other initiatives.
Furthermore, he characterized the scale of this event as the start of a new challenge, stating, “We will continue to take on new challenges based on fresh ideas, drawing on the energy of our younger staff.” He conveyed that even amid changing social conditions, the company would actively pursue measures that prioritize member benefits, and that it is considering events leading up to next year’s 40th anniversary that will further benefit members.
