First Independent “Construction Machinery / Agricultural Machinery / Forklift / Parts Auction” Held
Starting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Arai Auction began operating the auctions previously held collectively as the “Machinery&Motorcycle Auction” as three separate auctions: the “Construction Machinery Auction,” “Agricultural Machinery Auction,” and “Forklift Auction.”In addition, Arai Auction launched a new “Parts Auction” on the same day.
This change in the auction format is aimed at further enhancing expertise in each product category while improving convenience and satisfaction for our members. In conjunction with this change, the number of auction lanes was increased from eight to ten starting September 1. By assigning dedicated lanes to each product category, we have created an environment that makes it easier for members to find the items they are looking for, conduct negotiations, and place successful bids.
At the ceremony held on the day of the event, Atsushi Ogomori, Executive Director, Auction Company at Arai Shoji Co., Ltd., commented on the new auction format as follows:“Starting today, Arai Auction is taking on a new form under the theme of ‘SHINKA.’For us, ‘SHINKA’ carries three meanings: ‘Transformation,’ which represents continuously changing for the better in response to the times; ‘Deepening,’ which reflects our efforts to strengthen expertise in each field and further enhance the quality of our services; and ‘New Value,’ which represents creating new value together with our customers. As the first step in this transformation, starting today, we are specializing the former Machinery&Motorcycle Auction into three dedicated auctions: the ‘Construction Machinery Auction,’ ‘Agricultural Machinery Auction,’ and ‘Forklift Auction.’ We are also launching a new ‘Parts Auction’ and expanding the number of auction lanes from eight to ten.Furthermore, from Saturday, September 5, we will expand to 14 lanes and move the 4W Auction to Saturdays. By further strengthening our expertise in each product category, we aim to create a more comprehensive marketplace capable of meeting an even wider range of customer needs. In particular, the Parts Auction is an initiative designed to expand the possibilities for new product categories and distribution channels. We hope to develop it into a marketplace that creates new business opportunities for our members.”
